History

Newly-formed in the Fall, 2010 as iCARE: Individualized Care for All Residents Every Time

Organizational Structure

The committee is composed of interested representatives from the State Health Care Association, the LANE for the Advancing Excellence Campaign, State LTC Ombudsman's Office on Aging, local AARP office, provider community, a representative of the State Survey Agency, and other interested healthcare professionals and individuals, to create/promote: 

Education
Referral/contact list of resources for culture change efforts (mentors)
Web presence – listserv, forum/blog, connection to national efforts
Relationship-building with the State Survey Agency

Funding

No formal funding source.  All volunteer with some financial support from Idaho Health Care Association – Idaho Center for Assisted Living.

When Does iCARE Meet Next?
DATES:  We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month, every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November)
TIME: 12:30pm-1:30/2:00pm.
We meet by conference call as well as in person, how you participate is up to you. All meetings will be held at the IHCA-ICAL office in Meridian unless otherwise noted.
