The Agency works to to improve the quality, safety, efficiency, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness of health care for all Americans by conducting and supporting health services research, both within AHRQ as well as in leading academic institutions, hospitals, physicians' offices, health care systems, and many other settings across the country.

AGing Integrated Database
The AGID is an on-line query system that provides dynamic access to AoA-related program performance results, surveys, and other data files. This new data enables users to look at results and trends from 2000 through 2008. 

AHRQ 2007 State Snapshots
State-specific health care quality information, including strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. State-level information used to create the State Snapshots is based on data collected for the National Healthcare Quality Report (NHQR). 

American Health Care Association
High-level data from AHCA on a variety of topics including funding, liability, quality and staffing.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Data Files
This data is made available to the public, subject to privacy release approvals and the availability of computing resources. Information about Medicare beneficiaries, Medicare claims, Medicare providers, clinical data, and Medicaid eligibility and claims is included.

IFAS is the applied research arm of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA).

An independent nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the principles of patient-centered care. Picker Institute sponsors research and education to promote the global patient-centered movement.

ResDac - Research Data Assistance Center
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services contractor that provides free assistance to academic, government and non-profit researchers interested in using Medicare and/or Medicaid data for their research.
