The Validation Training Institute is a not for profit organization that advances knowledge, values, education and research rooted in the Validation Method. Its ultimate objective is to nurture respect, dignity and well-being in the lives of older adults experiencing age related cognitive decline and their caregivers.


Allen Power, MD is a board-certified internist and geriatrician. He is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Rochester, New York, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians / American Society for Internal Medicine, and an international educator on transformational models of care for older adults, particularly those living with changing cognitive abilities.
