The global movement to improve eldercare lost one of its champions over the holidays when Validation Training Institute founder Naomi Feil passed away on December 24.
Naomi’s ability to see the person behind the diagnosis of dementia — and her dedication to showing others how to do the same — will remain an inspiration for eldercare changemakers for generations to come.
Pioneer Network owes a great debt to Naomi for her tireless work as a person-directed care trailblazer. We extend our condolences to her daughter (and fellow champion for dignified, empowering services and supports) Vicki de Klerk and all those who knew and worked alongside her.
